The Town of Sykesville is seeking three individuals to serve on the newly created Gate House Museum of History Advisory Board.  The board will initially consist of three individuals, two of which must be town residents.  Applicants should possess a demonstrated special interest, specific knowledge, or professional or academic training in such fields as history, planning, museum management, curation, conservation, historic preservation or related disciplines.  It is anticipated that the Board will initially meet on a monthly basis.  Please submit a letter of interest and resume to Matthew Candland, Town Manager, Town of Sykesville, 7547 Main Street, Sykesville, MD 21784 or by email to mcandland@sykesville.net no later than Friday September 11, 2009.
